Your role in the IN NAM Programme:

  • Getting graduates Namibia ready by delivering a programme of events for all abilities and starting levels of fitness, includes working with selected ambassadors on locally organised events.

  • Extensive experience working in the sports marketing industry for many years.
  • 3 x Olympic Games finalist – 1500m/5km (Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004)
  • 5 x European medalist at 3,000m (Gold, 2 silver, 2 Bronze)

Your role in the IN NAM Programme:

  • Provide practical advice to groups and individuals on injury prevention and recovery techniques. In addition, attend the Lanzarote challenge event to provide demonstrations on strength and conditioning to help injury prevention and core stability.

I am a native of Limerick City, Ireland who, over the past twenty two years, have developed a reputation for treating many of the the world's elite sport stars. I have treated 61 Olympic medal winners, 47 World Champions including World Record holders in 100m, 110m hurdles, 1,500m, 1 mile, 3,000m, 3,000m steeplechase, 5,000m, 10,000m, 10 mile road, half marathon, marathon.

Your role in the IN NAM Programme:

  • My role within the IN NAM Programme entails administration & logistics of the graduates to ensure they are fit and well-prepared to attend/participate in training activities organised by the Steering Team. This includes being their point of contact for any sporting queries or concerns in the lead up to Namibia. I also enjoy participating in training activities alongside them, whether at Lanzarote Training Weekend or hitting the roads for a 5km run or full marathon
