Graduate Message:
Brief description of your day-to-day job at INEOS:
Part of the board of Project One, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting & estimating, funding, compliance, project control, risk management and IT. Day-to-day I spend most of my life on the telephone!
For my wider INEOS role, wherever there is external debt, I’m likely to be behind it. I’ve been involved with raising debt of INEOS for nearly twenty years.
Your interests, hobbies (sport and otherwise!), special skills...
I’m married with three children (18, 15, 15), all very sporty. Outside work and being the family taxi service, I swim, run and cycle, all to varying degrees of incompetence.
What are you most looking forward to about the Namibia trip?
Chance to focus on a new challenge and mixing more with the younger end of INEOS.
What are you most apprehensive about?
Always being at the back.
What do you hope to achieve from the challenge?
Survival is at the top of the list, beyond that some excellent memories would be good.
Anything else you'd like to share?
I tend to fall off my bike a lot, but mostly when I’m standing still. Don’t worry, I usually get back up again.
