Graduate Message:
I hope that there is a personal sense of accomplishment to complete the challenge all the way through Africa, but more importantly, to do it as a team with the graduates and create a sense of spirit de corps and watch them discover their own confidence and abilities.
Brief description of your day-to-day job at INEOS:
Like everyone at INEOS, I wear many hats! As a Business Controller I have responsibility for:
• Consolidating and reporting Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annual business results to Management & the Ineos Group
• Directly working with the O&P USA Board on all internal financial, management and bonus reporting
• The financial operations and support of the Chocolate Bayou Facility (including Hobbs and Pipelines)
• Credit function, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Securitization reporting
• The Trading and Control function for our in-house Trading organization
Your interests, hobbies (sport and otherwise!), special skills...
First, spending time with my family, including my wife and two daughters (13 & 10)
Outdoor pursuits – camping, hunting and fishing. But the last 14 months have been monopolised with running, biking and triathlons! Love all that now as well!
What are you most looking forward to about the Namibia trip?
Watching the graduates accomplish something amazing and overcoming their own self-imposed barriers and limits.
What are you most apprehensive about?
Doing everything possible to facilitate the training of all the US graduates to give them the best chance of success and avoiding injury leading up to the challenge.
