Fred Michel

INEOS Sports Manager (based in Rolle), French

Best Sporting Highlights:

  • Attending the London Marathon in 2012 as a INEOS team supporter, one of the team could not compete- so I decided to take his place with no training. This would be my first marathon. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and finished ahead of most of the INEOS team!

Graduate Message:

I have been lucky enough to have participated in a similar African adventure in 2015 with colleagues. It was a fantastic trip and a chance in a lifetime to experience the challenges of motorbiking, running and cycling across the African terrain. Preparation will be key, both mentally and physically for your trip to Namibia. I look forward to tracking your progress over the forthcoming months. Bonne chance!

Sporting Lowlights

Whilst running the 2012 London Marathon, I became so hungry that I stopped at 19 miles to buy a sandwich from a local restaurant! I lost over 15 minutes with this random stop. I am sure it was a strange situation for the spectators to see a Frenchman running past with a sandwich...
